Gregory H. Skidmore

Role: Greg is the founder, president, and portfolio manager for Belray Asset Management.

Relative Experience: In 1997, Greg Skidmore began training for the Olympics in sailing. He ultimately became the top ranked American in the world in the Finn Class and a member of the US Sailing Team.

After his Olympic endeavors, Greg joined his father at Advest, Inc (regional brokerage firm) in New York City. He spent time there in Equity Research and Institutional Sales, developing a foundation for analyzing investments.

Following his career at Advest, he joined Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor in their Private Client division. He quickly moved up the ranks, joining one of the premier private wealth management teams within Citigroup, the parent company of Smith Barney.

He is an active member of the business community. He is a member of the Representative Town Meeting of Greenwich, CT, Board Member of Fairfield/Westchester Entrepreneurs Organization, founder of Greenwich Entrepreneurs Meetup and host of the weekly radio show Greenwich Entrepreneurs.

Education: Greg graduated from Connecticut College in 1999 with a BA in Economics and History. He recently completed the SACRS UC Berkeley Haas School of Finance Public Pension Investment Management Program of 2007. He has passed the series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams. He currently holds only the series 63 and 65 and is therefore qualified to act as an Investment Advisor Representative.

Philip M. Skidmore

Role: Phil advises clients on their investment portfolios, and conducts investment research on their behalf.

Relative Experience: Phil is a 40 year veteran of Wall Street. His career began at Kuhn, Loeb & Company where he sold equity, debt, and private placements to institutions such as banks, endowments and pensions plans.

In 1977, Lehman Brothers bought Kuhn, Loeb & Co. As Senior Vice President of the Syndicate Department, he helped build Lehman Brothers Capital Markets Group. He was involved in developing investment banking relationships with major utility and phone companies.

In 1982, he became the Syndicate Manager of Advest, a regional broker dealer. Running Equity Capital Markets as a Senior Managing Director, he worked closely with Advest's Investment Banking Group in Mergers and Acquisitions, IPO's, and Secondary Offerings.

Education: Phil Skidmore graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology and received a BS in Industrial Management in 1964. He also attended NYU Business School from 1968 to 1969 where he graduated with an MBA in finance.

Elizabeth A. Kopyscinski

Role: Liz manages relationships with clients and leads Belray's efforts to support the local business community through educational radio shows and events.

Relative Experience: Liz's career began in 1968 as a Relationship Manager for Bankers Trust in New York City. While raising three children, she taught third grade and started a lifestyle company called Touch of New England. Once her children were in junior high she returned to the corporate world. She joined Care Technology in Greenwich as a Marketing Manager and in 1997 transitioned into radio, working for Cox Radio and Business Talk Radio. In addition to her work at Belray, she owns 06830 Gifts, a local gift shop run by her daughter.

Education: Liz received a BA in Education & History from Lady of Elms College in Chicopee, MA. She also holds a Lifetime Teaching Certificate from the State of MA.

Carroll B. McCallum
Office Manager

Role: Carroll manages the day to day operations and compliance program for Belray Asset Management.

Relative Experience: Carroll previously filled the role of Office Manager at Retirement Counseling  Associates in Darien, Connecticut. She managed the day to day operations for this financial planning firm. Earlier in her career she provided commodity trading support at Bunge Corporation, an international agribusiness. Her position there included developing data processing systems for barge and grain logistics.

Education: Carroll received a B.A. degree in Biology from Stanford University and a Masters in Biology from St. Louis University. She completed a second Masters in International Management from Thunderbird School of International Management.

Role: Performs portfolio analysis and financial planning.

Relative Experience: James graduated from Middlebury College in 2006. Following graduation, he spent time at a Manhattan-based hedge fund, where he offered private placements to small capitalization companies in need of funding before joining Belray in February 2008. An avid student of the markets, James spends a great deal of time studying modern portfolio theory and asset management.

Role: With Brandon Lacoff, he advises clients on their real estate positions: personal, business, and investment. He is also a real estate portfolio manager at Belray Capital.

Relative Experience: Ron joined the brokerage firm A.G. Edwards as a broker trainee upon graduating from college. After several years at AG Edwards, he joined MAC Pension, Inc., where he continued honing his financial and estate planning skills.

In 1999, he co-founded
Belray Capital, LLC with Brandon Lacoff. Belray Capital is a real estate development and investment firm. He left MAC Pension in 2004 to focus his time and energy on Belray Capital. Based in Greenwich, Belray Capital manages a multi-asset real estate portfolio valued at approximately $200 million. Belray is regarded as a rapidly growing equity fund in the tri-state area.

Education: Ron graduated form the University of Connecticut with a BS in Finance in 1997.

Relative Experience: Brandon brings business, finance, and accounting expertise along with three years of Mergers and Acquisitions experience at Ernst & Young, LLP. In 1999, he co-founded Belray Capital, LLC, and eventually left Ernst & Young, LLP in 2004 to focus on Belray Capital full time. Belray Capital is a real estate development and investment firm. Based in Greenwich, Belray Capital manages a multi-asset real estate portfolio valued at approximately $200 million. Belray is regarded as a rapidly growing equity fund in the tri-state area.

Education: Brandon received a B.S. degree in finance from Syracuse University Whitman School of Management in 1997and his J.D. / M.B.A. degrees in finance and accounting from Hofstra University School of Law and Hofstra University Frank G. Zarb School of Business in 2001.
